The Committee places great importance on Angair’s work with the Anglesea and Aireys Inlet Schools. The students are the future of conservation.

The Anglesea School garden is now well established, with the final areas being planted this autumn. Many Angair Members are already volunteers on the mentor’s roster. They attend the School every 6 weeks approximately, and mentor the students for one hour. No real expertise is required. Now we have two groups, those interested in using the garden as a teaching resource, and those interested in the maintenance of the garden. The response from the School, and more importantly from the students is very pleasing. If you would like to join the team please ring Bill on 5263 3673. You are also welcome to have a look at this garden, planted in May 2011.
