Description

Friends of Aireys Inlet–rehabilitation working bee, Lot 2, Bambra Road Aireys Inlet. Painkalac Valley

A new initiative that ANGAIR is undertaking is to assist in the rehabilitation of part of the Painkalac Valley, long used for grazing but containing some important wetlands.

One of our members has purchased part of the land and proposes to rehabilitate it and place a Trust for Nature covenant on it to preserve it in perpetuity.

We will be undertaking a planting working bee on Sunday June 23 at Lot 2 Bambra Rd, Aireys inlet at 10.00 am.

Please come along and see the potential for this land to become a showcase for the valley.

There will be more working bees in future and we hope members can join us.
