Too precious to lose: long term studies of the unique mammal fauna of the eastern Otways

Barbara is an internationally recognised conservation scientist with 40 years’ experience in government and academia (Deakin University, Murdoch University, University of Western Australia, Yale University, Göttingen University). She leads research teams focused on understanding sustainable management of Australian ecosystems. Research areas include the impacts of fire, climate change, the plant pathogen Phytophthora cinnamomi on communities; and the ecology and recovery of endangered fauna species.
