Angair (Anglesea, Aireys Inlet Society for the Protection of Flora and Fauna) is dedicated to protecting the natural beauty of the environments of Anglesea and Aireys Inlet in trust for future generations.

For more than 50 years, Angair members have worked in many ways to increase awareness of the value of the indigenous plants and wildlife that make the district so picturesque and special.

Indigenous acknowledgement statement

We acknowledge the Wadawurrung of the Kulin Nation and the Gadubanud of the Eastern Maar People as the Traditional Owners and protectors of this place.

We also acknowledge their ancestors who cared for the land, water and marine areas and all its biodiversity for thousands of years. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and future who continue to care for this place.
