Nearly 200 people attended the opening of the Mosaic Art Walk on 17 October. Angair was well represented. There are now four mosaics completed, two on the riverbank, one at the Lookout, and ours (photo here). One of Victoria’s best known mosaicists, Debra Halpern, gave a talk, and local residents contributed their thoughts about the project. Many thanks to Yvonne Coventry and other Angair members for their continuing work on the mosaics, and to Eathorne, Merryn, Nick and Pauline for their help with catering. Visit the mosaics soon – they are all wonderful and unique.
