Sixteen enthusiastic walkers enjoyed a lovely walk on a sandy track, through light eucalyptus forest with open heathlands north of the now closed power station.
We all admired the pleasant views over the valley and especially the Epacris Impressa ( Common Heath) and the Xanthorrhoea (Grasstrees).
Grasstree
The Epacris Impressa is always delightful with its attractive display of pink, red and white and the Grasstrees are absolutely beautiful.
