Seventeen campers, plus two staying off site, came to our Angair Camp in the Grampians. Conversation, food and wine flowed generously around the campfire.

CampsiteThe highlights were the many Duck Orchids, hundreds of Red Beaks (unfortunately past their best), Dusty Fingers and Pink Fairies silhouetted against the black ash. And the thousands of flowering grass-trees too, of course.

Thank you to all who came and gave your time to the destruction of weed orchids there. We absolutely appreciate your efforts! Lesley, your prize is waiting for you.

Walking along trackThe camp finished with a visit to the WAMA Foundation, a new property dedicated to environmental art and protection of local habitat on the outskirts of Halls Gap.
