Friends of Anglesea Coast, a subcommittee of ANGAIR, aims to protect and restore the coastal reserve at Anglesea. We meet at 10 am (till 12 noon) on the second Saturday of every month except January at the ANGAIR Natural History Centre 3C McMillan St Anglesea. Tools and gloves are provided.
Our major projects include the regeneration of Soapy Rocks, the regeneration of the sand dunes at Anglesea Main Beach, the restoration of the heathland above the Anglesea Surf Club and the maintenance of the Heathland Garden. We are always keen for new volunteers to come along and help our work on the Anglesea coastal reserve. It is very satisfying to see the improvement from our work and the company is great.
