Angair ramble on rocks
Come and explore the biodiversity wonders of the rocky intertidal zone at Eagle Rock Marine Sanctuary. When the tide subsides and the rockpools become exposed, we are offered a glimpse into the temperate marine world of our coastline. Crabs, seaweed, crabs with seaweed attached, sea stars, snails and slugs: it’s a bonanza of weird, wonderful (and photogenic) life.
We’ll explore for a couple of hours to see what we can find. Bring sandals or runners that can get wet. Thongs and bare feet are not great rockpool attire.
Numbers are limited so booking is essential.
Contact ellinormary@gmail.com. The exact location of the ramble will be given when you book.
