Angair walk – Anglesea Heathland Track

We are optimistic that our walk this month will enable participants to find orchids along the sides of the track as early October is usually a very good time of the year for our terrestrial orchids.  

There are sure to be many other wildflowers in bloom, so it’s a good chance to try out the fourth edition of Orchids of the Anglesea District or the new Flowers of Anglesea and Aireys Inlet.

The track is narrow and sometimes uneven so wear strong footwear and possibly bring a hiking stick as well as your morning tea. The walk is moderate with some uphill sections and approximately 3 km.

Meet at the Angair office at 9:30 am.
