FEO, Angair & Parks Christmas BBQ

The traditional Christmas barbeque at the Moggs Creek Picnic Ground is coming up on Saturday 13 December.

The gathering brings together the Friends of Eastern Otways, Angair and Parks Victoria to celebrate a year of useful environmental work. It starts at 10 am with an optional but enjoyable guided walk around the Moggs Creek Circuit Track to see the wealth of flora and fauna and listen to the birdcalls.

The barbeque – usually wrangled by Parks Vic rangers who are a dab hand with BBQ tongs – starts at midday. Meat, sauce and bread are provided but bring you own favourite salads, sweets and drinks. Bring plates, cutlery and a chair as well.

If the weather turns nasty the venue will be changed to the covered area at Tallawalla Guide Camp, which is on the left just before going down the hill to the picnic ground.
