Ironbark Gorge Circuit

We will meet at the Distillery Creek Picnic Ground at 9.30 am for the delightful approximately 5 km walk up the Ironbark Gorge. Get to the picnic ground by turning right into Bambra Road off the Great Ocean Road.

The track initially winds its way up through the Ironbark forest which hopefully will still be flowering and full of birds. You then come to an interesting granite outcrop as you approach the head of the gorge.

The return track on the other side of the creek is a different world with tree ferns and mosses and several bridges over the creek.

Bring appropriate clothes for the weather and suitable footwear for a bush foot track, water, binoculars and camera/phone.
