Canoeing on the Painkalac Creek

Painkalac Valley Network Canoe Discovery

Learn how to paddle, have fun, while discovering some amazing features of the Painkalac Creek/wetland/estuarine system.

Basic skills for safety and technique are taught by Eco-Logic (who are conducting this activity) before entering the canoes.

Participants will learn about the features of these places, including the animals and plants that survive there, as well as past and present human use of these environments. Learn about indigenous land and plant use, human impacts and sustainable management of the river system.

Participants must be at least 12 years of age.

Meet at the Canoe Ramp opposite the corner of River Reserve Road and Coastal Court, Aireys Inlet.

What is supplied
Canoes, paddles and PFDs (personal floatation devices) are provided by Eco-Logic, and this activity is appropriate and safe for non-swimmers.
