The Members Day Plant Sale last month was extremely successful with hundreds of plants going to new homes.  The propagation team’s Tracey Worsey said that the high sales volume ‘cleared a useful amount of space so we can keep growing. Thank you members and propagation volunteers.’ Remember that newly purchased seedlings will need particular care over the coming months if the Bureau of Meteorology predictions of a dry winter are correct.  The propagation team was also grateful that so many buyers returned their forest tubes from earlier purchases for recycling. The only propagators who were less enthusiastic were those assigned to washing duties! If you have already planted your new plants, you don’t have to wait to return the used tubes until the next sale. You can leave the tubes in the cage near the Angair office door.
