Twenty one Angair members set off on a 10 km walk in the Grampians on November 24.
We were joined by three members of the local branch (Pomonal) of the Australian Plants Society. It was a hot day and the projected walk was to Kalymna Falls via a combination of bush tracks and 4 wheel drive roads.

We were amazed at the size of the Dwarf Wedge-pea Gompholobium ecostatum we found growing everywhere.
Later, we managed to correctly identify the Grampians Trigger Plant Stylidium soboliferum and the Rough Star Hair Astrotricha asperifolia which were puzzling some of us.

Twelve of us eventually reached the waterfall – a heroic effort on a 32 degree day!
The Angair camping weekends happen once a year, usually the last weekend in November and all are welcome.
