Angair works with the Department of Sustainability & Environment (DSE), Parks Victoria and the Country Fire Authority in planning ecological burns to benefit the diversity of flora and fauna.

Latest news from DSE

The Proposed Fire Operations Plans for 2011/12 – 2013/14 for all districts are now available for viewing on-line at the DSE website. To view the Proposed Otway Fire District FOP, scroll down to the South West area in the table where you will find the plan and map documents.  The plan will also be available for viewing until the end of the month at the following DSE offices:

  • Anglesea -70a Camp Rd Anglesea
  • Colac – 83 Gellibrand St Colac
  • Forrest – 57 Grant St Forrest
  • Geelong – Cnr Fenwick & Little Malop St Geelong
  • Gellibrand – 58 Main Rd Gellibrand

You can also access DSE’s interactive map website to see what burning and other works are planned in your area.

We want everyone to have a chance to hear about and understand our plans, as well as provide feedback and input.

You can do this by downloading and filling out a feedback sheet and forwarding to DSE by following instructions on the feedback sheet, or sending it straight to me at:
