The November walk was held on Saturday 26, on a mild and calm morning.

Nine members enjoyed the walk from Bambra Road, down to the Painkallac Dam, and finishing at Moggs Creek.

We walked around the dam as far as we could both ways. The circuit right around is not completed yet but some seating and tables have been provided.

The dam is no longer being used for water supply, but will be available to the public for passive recreation like bird watching, walking and fishing.

During our walk we saw swathes of Hop Goodenia, Pink Finger orchids, a Sun Orchid, Blue Pin Cushions, Billy Buttons, Prickly Starwort, Blue Squill, Trailing Goodenia, some Brachyscome and most delightfully, Xantheria minor in flower, to name a few.
