Description

Distillery Creek to Painkalac Dam – Saturday 26 November
Stuart Galloway

A short easy return track from the Distillery Creek car park to the old picnic area at the far end of the dam makes a walk of 8 kms and will take approximately three hours. The walk is mostly on fire tracks but there are some quite steep hills. The connection between the track and picnic point is short but overgrown. We’ll lunch at the abandoned seats and tables from the time the dam was managed by Barwon Water.

Meet at Distillery Creek car park (not the Ironbark Gorge one) at 10.00 am. Bring water and lunch.
